Hi. I'm Bill Perry

Welcome to Bill Perry Photography. I concentrate primarily on photos of people. Specifically, portrait photography for actors, businesspeople and musicians. My goal is to give you something that serves that image’s unique purpose; which is to help the person that sees it to feel like they know you better. My pictures capture the personality and character of the person and the moment. While I’m based out of Simi Valley (In Southern Ventura County), I routinely have work as far South as Anaheim and Temecula.

A headshot is a single frame of a film that will be evaluated, analyzed and judged. It might be the only impression you get to make. Make sure it’s a good one.

Let’s be honest. A poor photograph will never be great. A good photograph requires some tweaking and editing to become great. Knowing what to fix is just as important as having the know-how to do it.

pre-press preparation

To get the best use of your photos, you need the right format, size and specs. That takes software and technical skill. I’ll help you make sure you have what you need to take your images to the web, the print shop or a billboard.

The job is to light you in a evocative way. That's really the trick. How exactly that is done is really what separates one photographer from the next. The direction and quality of light is the key to capturing the image that allows the character of each person to be seen.

I come to you. I bring whatever I need. It’s not easy because I only get one shot at it and I have to be ready for anything at any time.

studio photography

Studio stuff is awesome. I have control over the light. You come to me, or I come to you and we build a quick temporary studio. We pose it, light it and we craft the perfect image.

headshot photography

You get ONE frame to sell yourself. It better be good. It’s not actually about being “pretty”. That single frame needs to instantly get attention and get an emotional reaction from the viewer.
